Liquid Fusion (R) Records
January 3, 1987, while dropping off a demo, I was suddenly and unexpectedly called into the head office of a major NYC record label - right off the street: they wanted to discuss their using one of my songs to showcase one of their major Artists who were reuniting as a band again. When asked, the VP of this major label, whi I was talking with, refused to tell me the name of this band - except that they were located in England. Six months later, during the summer, I heard a changed version of this song on NYC radio airwaves: it felt to me like I had been shot direct deep in the gut. The song went on to make untold millions for this band on world-wide tours. I was told, "If you have the talent to be ripped off, then keep going, because there must be more!!!" Hard words to digest. Harder to prove I'd been "ripped-off." With mixed emotions, moving forward to bring positive energy to the world - I created Liquid Fusion (R) Records.
To further credibility, visibility, promotion, I joined the GRAMMY AWARDS - as a Record Label - Liquid Fusion (R) - and as a Full Voting Member - Producer / Engineer for both myself and my co-producer, Rob Visciano (Kitchen Band) that I work with extensively on many rock / blues based projects (audio / video). More Grammy Voting Members will soon to be on the way from Liquid Fusion (R)!!
The vision of Liquid Fusion (R) is simple. Powerful: the Artist is King. Liquid Fusion (R) is run by creative people who understand entertainment. Our motto: "Good energy coming together." I wear many hats: guitarist / bassist / producer / engineer / writer / web-designer / trader (options) - to raise cash to fund Euro / USA tours. Our goal: keep rock / funk / blues alive!! New. Fresh. Surprising. Burning fire at new edge of day. Wherever you are, let us take you there: Funk / Rock / Acoustic / Blues.
